What is RK Quest?
RK Quest is a website dedicated to the popular anime series originally known as Rurouni Kenshin (a.k.a. Samurai X). This site contains mainly information about the series as well as the movie, OVA, and manga. To make the site more interesting, we’ve added other multimedia contents such as images, wallpapers, and videos.

When did it started?
The first site was launched in April 2, 2004. Since then, it has been hosted by several free (although bannerless) webhosting companies, namely, AS Hosting, Host Cubix, and FusionXHost. On March 2007, the webmaster decided to move it in a paid hosting for better reliability and hosting service. A few weeks after that, major changes took place. It switched its backend to Wordpress.

Who started and maintains it?
Darren Pangan started the site when he was still in college and continues to maintain the site up to this moment. He now has a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and passed the National Board Exams a year after the site was launched. Now, he works as a Web Developer that develops and maintains an Australian social networking website.

Does he have other websites aside from RK Quest?
Darren is also the webmaster of the anime blog and forum, Anime 2 Manga, and the computer technology blog and forum called extremedevs.com.

Will this site stay online even if Rurouni Kenshin is already an old anime title?
Yes. Even if Darren is the only Rurouni Kenshin fan alive, he will strive to keep this site online.
